Philosophy
Artist, musician and documentary filmmaker, Emily Tessmer, is a life-long music educator who celebrates the power of the natural world. Music, Tessmer's first creative love, remains at the helm of her devotion to melody, harmony and her spirituality. Tessmer's documentaries are rooted in love for the indigenous cultures in the Sierra Nevada. Currently the Music Director at Sage Ridge School, a private highly rated college prep school in Reno, Nevada, Tessmer continues her pursuit of new recorded material and takes pride in her ability to tell stories through documentary film.
